Tomorrow is the day I spread my wings and enter the big wide world (horrendous idiom, forgive me.) No- I’m only joking I’m not becoming a bird, but I am leaving my life as a sales assistant to become a trainee journalist.
I’ve had an emotional couple of days with finishing at my job and having to say goodbye to everyone but the excitement is getting the better of me now. I cannot wait for my alarm to go off at half past six Tomorrow Morning and believe me, that is not sarcasm!
I cannot wait to see what the first day, week, month has in store for me and I’m eager to meet my new course mates and mentors! I’ve just finished packing my bag and I’m still baffled as to how I am going to be able to carry this suitcase around with me all day-even Easy Jet would have charged me for going over 15kg! (slight exaggeration as you can tell.) …But I will upload a picture to show you what I am taking Tomorrow! All I can say is, thank God for my car!
The time is now 7PM and I still have so much to do before I grab an early night. I can tell these fourteen weeks will be pretty hectic, what with studying and finding stories and to tell the truth, that scares me a bit but I’m sure it will all be fine once I’m settled in.
I must go now because I still need to make my lunch and I want to run through the Teeline alphabet once more. Don’t worry, I will fill you in on what Teeline is Tomorrow when I’ve learnt a bit more about it.
Wish me luck.
